UK-based Archipelago Technology will be showcasing Powerdrop, the high-energy ejection process it has developed for jetting viscous liquids. Powerdrop solves a major constraint of inkjet – that it is limited to jetting ink. Powerdrop provides precise, consistent, micro-litre jetting of liquids such as paint, ceramic glaze, sticky adhesives and even molten material at temperatures of 180°C. Importantly, it operates at high throughput with very low levels of overspray.
As well as being featured on the Archipelago Technology stand at InPrint Italy, Powerdrop will be featured in a presentation during the show by the firm’s Chief Executive Guy Newcombe. The talk, ‘Make your inkjet system work harder for you: three easy wins’, is at 14:30 on Tuesday 15 November in the Showcase Theatre.
