There is still some great content to come for InPrint 2016. On the final day here's some highlights produced by the InPrint Team to provide visitors and exhibitors with some extra value, insight and entertainment.
Decor: Dream or Reality 11.30am
Decor is shaping up as an industry and inkjet is being asked to play a role in its future.
Growth for this sector is significant. According to the recent InPrint Decor Survey, 37% of respondents believe growth for inkjet is in excess of 15%. This growth is unrivalled by other traditional print sectors and the industry is clamouring to understand why this is occurring and how to optimise the opportunity.
Today at InPrint, at 11.30, in the Main Conference Room, Marcus Timson presents Decor: Dream or Reality? This session outlines research, trends and issues pertaining to inkjet within decor.
Growing Pains of Industrial Print 1pm
Industrial inkjet is unquestionable in the fact that it is in a positive growth phase. But simply trumpeting lots of positive data about potential is really only telling half of the story.
What are the barriers to growth? What needs to occur in order for inkjet to play a more pivotal role in industrial printing?
At 1pm in the Showcase Theatre, Frazer Chesterman and Roland Biemans will host a session that asks these questions and provides some answers. Joining them is an expert panel including Mark Hanley of IT Strategies and Klaas Kackmann-Schneider of Tarkett.
Great Innovations Competition
At 2.30pm today 14 companies will present their entry for the Great Innovations Competition. The competition, now in its third year is designed to profile innovation within an interactive, live environment. Hosted by Frazer Chesterman there features a panel of 3 people (Sophie Mathews-Paul, Mike Willis and Marcus Timson) who will decide the top two innovators. Then the audience decides the overall winner.
New for this year, the InPrint Founders Award will be presented a new award in memory of Paolo Capano.
